Kristy JacksonWith a career in education, a special event/consulting business,
DK Solutions & Events, and a family, Kristy's days are always eventful. She currently serves as the Gifted Curriculum Coordinator for the Webster Groves School District. Kristy also works as an adjunct professor at Webster University and Maryville University. Kristy’s published work includes the Captain MAP testing program and a chapter in the new book, Leading the Connected Classroom: Recapturing the Heart and Soul of Teaching and Learning. Kristy was recently featured in the People on the Move Business Highlight in the St. Louis American Newspaper. Her community engagement includes volunteering as a contributing author for ConnectED Learning, District A Director of the Gifted Association of MO, and YMCA Community Literacy advisory Board President. She has also served on the Fontbonne University Alumni Board of Directors, Metro Theater Co. and Stages St. Louis Boards. Kristy has presented at local, state, and national educational conferences. Kristy holds a B.A. in Education from Fontbonne University, a M.A.T. and an ED.S.degree from Webster University. She is married to James Jackson, II, owner of JAJ2Music, and has two daughters, Kelsie and Jada. |
Who is your "Shero" ? |
My "Shero" is a woman who's name was never mentioned. She is called the"Virtuous Woman". Her attributes and personal habits are a model to many women, including myself. She is trustworthy, wise, resourceful, loving and kind. I strive each day to leave a similar legacy for others to model.

What is your GLAMM Role? |
I am the Founder / Executive Director of GLAMM. I serve as a caretaker of the vison, dreams, planning and resources of GLAMM. I am responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Directors and Advisory Board.

Why did you join the GLAMM TEam? |
I have always wanted to help people reach their full potential. I am committed to supporting and nurturing the gifts and talents of young girls in order to help them see their worth and potential. |
